Margaret is an artist and creator. She has completed Masters in Information Studies, specialising in Children's Librarianship, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Visual).
She approaches life with an attitude of self-sufficiency and humour – she likes to have a go – and sees creativity and making as part of everyday life.
She has multifaceted practice, and is constantly seeking new ways to create things (writing, paintings, drawings, books, photos, paper crafts, videos, quilts, performances and music).
Margaret teaches bookbinding workshops, where students learn to make a range of handmade books.
She is currently working on writing a young adult novel, and is giving ventriloquism a go.
